My name is Adria Kaufman and I’m a graphic designer and illustrator living and making in the Midwest. I thrive off of telling stories that inspire through my art. I love to work on branding which crafts a strong visual tale. I’m adept in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects. I love learning new tricks to add to my design toolkit to help push creative expression to its fullest potential and captivate audience’s imaginations. My analog art consists of watercolor, acrylic, pen and ink, and letterpress printing. I graduated with a degree in graphic design and illustration in 2014. I won 1st place in the Wisconsin AIGA Student Excellence Awards in 2013. I was named employee of the year at design firm, Planet Propaganda in 2015. I was part of a collaborative project that was featured in PRINT Magazine in 2015 with my fellow designers from Planet Propaganda. I’ve worked for the last five years as a graphic designer at Shopbop, an online retailer of designer fashion owned by Amazon and was promoted to senior graphic designer in 2022. My experience has moved away from print to mostly digital these days. I design the homepages, e-mails, global banners, lookbooks, and promotional assets for our website as a part of the editorial creative content team at Shopbop. I designed several of the templates our team works from which helped improved our workflow substantially and regularly collaborate with stylists, art directors, creative directors, and copywriters to deliver beautifully impactful content to our customers.
